Solar Powered Driveway Probe by Gate BirdTM

It is wireless and truly long range up to a mile or more, depending upon the terrain.
This CARTELLTM high tech probe is now capable of
providing years of unattended service to its owner. Plus there is no trenching.
The Solar 9V Probe can be used independently as a Driveway Alert. It has its own pleasant
radio call to the homeowners Base Station(s). For installation, the
20 inch probe is buried slightly underground and parallel to the driveway.
This solar 9V Driveway Probe has its electronic sensing board and radio transmit, housed
in a small square 4.7" all weather enclosure that can be located as close to the probe
as convenient yet is inconspicuous or hidden. Even up in a tree with occasional
shade is okay. This "Smartie Bird" is an easy keeper, requiring less that 60 mirco
amps to maintain probe operation. The 80' cable can be coiled to fit the application.
A 9V lithium battery version is also available that will perform without the solar panel for
approximately one year using the identical probe.
If used in conjunction with DOORKINGS'S 6002 Vehicular Swing Gate Operator,
or with the Gate Bird Operator, each will "Talk Back", and can server a dual purpose.
It can trigger the gate to open, providing and audible "Automatic Exit" when someone
is leaving. If a vehicle enters when the gate is standing open, a Driveway AlertTM
is sounded to the homeowners Base Station.
